Temporary Mailroom Assistant
Mailroom Assistant required to provide professional and friendly service for our client based in the city centre. Ideal candidate should offer previous experience in a similar role and have excellent communication and organisation skills.
Full Description
This is a temporary assignment from 3rd – 14th August. The working hours will be 8:00 – 17:00.
Ideal candidate should also be available on the 31st July to attend induction training.
Work is primarily assigned via telephone calls, emails and/or face-to-face, therefore excellent communications skills and previous experience in a similar capacity are essential.
Main duties will include:
- Delivering effective mailroom and porterage service to the customers.
- Recording and distributing registered deliveries.
- Providing a point of contact for customers face to face and on the phone.
- Reporting any customer complaints to Line Manager.
- Record keeping.
Ideal candidate should:
- Have an approachable, friendly and helpful manner.
- Have attention to detail.
- Be confident in completing basic recording of data.
- Have a basic knowledge of Microsoft office.
- Have the ability to work in a team and with minimal supervision.
