The successful candidate will have responsibility for:

• Assistance/guidance of day-to-day safety practices for employees.
• Safety & Site inductions to employees/crew
• Vessel safety inspections
• Issuing permits
• Risk Assessments & Method Statements
• Accident and incident investigations
• Upkeep and inspection of all equipment
• Internal & External audits
• Upkeep of ISO 9001 standard.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the NEBOSH General Certificate, however appropriate training may be given if necessary.

A background in ship repair/marine/fabrication/engineering would be preferred.
