Rate: Commensurate with experience

Leading Aberdeen based E&P Company looking for part time cover in their Legal Department. This role could suit an Energy Lawyer who is looking to reduce their hours, contract likely to last 12 months.

Will be responsible for providing proactive legal support specifically to the organisations Supply Chain Team. You will principally report directly to the Legal Manager. Previous operations supply chain experience is highly desirable as is familiarity with industry standard logic pro-forma agreements. You will also be expected to assist the Legal Team with a variety of other matters as and when required.

 ACCOUNTABILITIES

 Establish role as focal point within business for all matters relating to supply chain for all UKCS; proactively support the supply chain team

  • Assist Supply Chain Team by reviewing and revising supply chain contracts which are primarily contractor qualifications based on special terms and conditions against the logic Provide reasoned comments against the revisions made focusing on minimising and mitigating company risk as far as possible and negotiate direct with contractor where required.
  • Proactively engage in all supply chain related issues and arrange or provide training/workshops/seminars to supply chain colleagues within the
  • Liaising with supply chain colleagues to ensure that appropriate insurance from Contractors is requested in tender documents and verifying that this has been
