Do you have a degree in Chemical Engineering or a subject relating to science? We are currently working with one of our clients in Aberdeen for a District Sales Representative. The client based just 10 minutes from the city centre are ideally looking for someone with a sales / customer service background within a chemical environment. Candidates with a chemical / chemistry related degree without the sales background will also be considered.

  • Managing and interpreting data, looking to identify and proposing resolutions to any issues.
  • Assisting in preparing and checking of monthly reports for the customer.
  • Assisting in preparing and delivery of quarterly business reviews.
  • Assisting in the inventory management / ordering / delivery process in conjunction with onshore teams and offshore chemists.
  • Works to resolve any conflicts in a productive and collaborative manner.
  • Helping to identify and resolve any issues reported by offshore chemists or customers, works to create and present solution as appropriate.
  • Developing an understanding of product range in use, in order to assist in problem solving.
  • Prioritising workload while balancing team needs and managing customer expectations.
  • Assisting with building and / or developing relationships with customers.
  • Actively assisting the company and client, identify and implementing any cost management initiatives in order to benefit both parties.
  • Adhering to internal and external safe work practices, policies and procedures.
