Excellent opportunity for an experienced Tax Controller to join leading global oil service company. Responsible for delivering tax compliance processes across the Europe and Africa region. Role can be based in Aberdeen or London.
- Responsible for preparation of corporation tax computations for statutory reporting purposes for the Europe Africa Region including calculation of tax provisions for inclusion in the financial statements providing procedural and practical advice to relevant teams.
- Monthly reporting of tax provision and movements.
- Preparation of ETR reconciliation and providing advice on management of ETR.
- Forecasting ETR including identifying risks and opportunities including reporting on any potential or actual tax exposure or risk.
- Ownership of year-end tax packs for management reporting purposes.
- Reviewing quarterly tax calculations, and making recommendations based on review.
- Preparation of group tax positions summary and ensuring timely settlement.
- Responsible for transfer pricing reports and review of intercompany pricing documentation.
- Preparation and reporting of employee related tax reporting to HMRC including but not limited to share scheme reporting, employment intermediary reporting, P11Ds and PAYE settlement.
- Monitoring and reporting on permanent establishment triggers and risks in particular movement of Service Engineers, understanding the country requirements in the region.
- Ensuring host country tax compliance for globally mobile employees.
