Currently recruiting for an experienced Fabric Maintenance Project Engineer on a permanent staff basis for an Aberdeen based Oil and Gas client.

The Fabric Maintenance Project Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

  • Managing all aspects of contract fabric maintenance delivery.
  • Responding to all requests from Asset Engineers and client.
  • Carrying out offshore visits and completing Surveys / Fabric Maintenance Audits as required.
  • Monitoring and reporting on progress against plan, costs and budget.
  • Managing and monitoring selection, requisition and certification of all plant and materials required for work scope.
  • Completing pre-mob and scope briefings for offshore teams and managing all HR issues that occur.
  • Providing technical support to offshore and onshore teams, including the client.
  • Completing all work packs / method statements / job cards for offshore activities.
  • Maintaining and reporting on Corrosion Damage Report Database and trackers.
  • Liaising with Recruitment for appropriate personnel and availability.
  • Standing in for Asset Project Engineers when required.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Prior experience within a similar Fabric Maintenance Project Engineer position is essential.
  • Extensive fabric maintenance coatings experience is essential and it would be preferred if the successful candidate possessed a hands-on coatings trade background.
  • Coatings inspection and surveying experience would be highly desirable.
  • NACE or ICORR certification would be highly desirable.
  • SAP experience would be advantageous.
  • Occasional offshore travel will be required so applicants must be prepared to work offshore.
