Senior Communications Analyst - VR/15694
Excellent long term contract opportunity to work with a leading E&P company and join their Corporate Communications Team.
Partnering with the UK Leadership Team to develop and implement internal communications strategies that support employee engagement in achieving operational goals and objectives. The role will also support external communication initiatives.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing internal communications strategies to engage and inspire employees.
- Key internal priorities include enhancing leadership visibility, maintaining consistent communication infrastructure, encouraging pride in the brand, and supporting accountability and cultural change initiatives.
- Working closely with Human Resources and Government Relations to ensure alignment on internal and external messages.
- Developing and implementing external communications strategies that promote awareness UK operations and development projects.
- Coordinating responses to media inquiries, including acting as local spokesperson and / or providing support to leadership on media response; ensuring external information is communicated to employees in a timely way; managing the communications approval process.
- Supporting community relations work.
- Developing and managing events that facilitate employee engagement and / or support community investment.
- Ensuring a robust crisis communications plan.
- Ensuring proper and consistent branding on internal and external materials, including advertising. Providing advice to internal clients regarding branding.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism.
- Demonstrable corporate communications experience.
- Excellent writing ability; clear, concise and using key messages.
- Oil and gas industry experience.
- Crisis communications experience.
- Media relations experience.
- Ability to ensure maximum performance, even under pressure.
- Proven ability to coordinate and implement communications strategies and to manage projects and / or events.
- Consultative skills.
