The Onshore Occupational Health Advisor will have experience and sound knowledge in occupational health management practices accompanied by a working knowledge of offshore occupational health issues.

The role is primarily to ensure the provision of occupational health support and advice to the onshore and offshore business.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Liaising with the Offshore Occupational Health Advisor’s on a daily basis – providing support and specialist advice.
• Providing specialist advice on all occupational health related matters.
• Acting as focal point for occupational health advice / supporting offshore assets and the onshore inter-related business functions.
• Engaging with offshore / onshore personnel and key contractors on improving HSE performance in line with agreed asset / department annual HSE improvement plans.
• Supporting audit and monitoring activities.
• Developing and reviewing UKMS Occupational Health related documentation. Developing and supporting implementation and training plans.

Qualification / Training

• Degree in Nursing (desirable) OR relevant Offshore Medic industry experience.
• Degree in Occupational Health – Part 3 of the NMC register (SCPHN) (desirable) OR other relevant experience.
• NEBOSH qualified.
