Capital Effort as Bra-Clad Tartan Titbits Raise £2,000
Six north-east women were among the thousand of volunteers who bared more than just their legs in a charity walk at the weekend.
The group, called the Tartan Titbits, took part in the Playtex Moonwalk in London - dressed in customised bras.
The event featured 15,000 bra-clad women - including celebrities Lorraine Kelly, Nell McAndrew and Kate Garraway - walking a marathon distance of 26.2 miles overnight from Saturday to yesterday.
The aim was to raise money for breast cancer research.
The Tartan Titbits, who raised more than £2,000 between them, are: Jules Lancastle, 32, director of activitymix, of Potterton; Matti Ferguson, 58, of Banchory; Lesley Cochrane, 58, a physiotherapist, of Aberdeen; Anna Brown, 32, a St Machar Academy teacher, of Aberdeen; Fiona Murphy, who is in her 30`s, a psychiatric nurse, of Hatton of Fintray; and Karen Molloy, 38, of recruitment firm Thorpe Molloy, of Aberdeen.
