Thorpe Molloy awarded `3 year contract` by Food Standards Agency
Thorpe Molloy today, Thursday 11th August 2005, announces that they have been awarded a 3 year contract by the Food Standards Agency, Scotland. The contract is for the provision of temporary workers to the office support function at the Food Standards Agency, Aberdeen, Scotland. The contract will commence in October.
Thorpe Molloy have previously held two one year contracts for the provision of temporary workers such as receptionists, administrators and data input clerks to the Food Standards Agency, Scotland; providing over 100 staff members between July 2003 and July 2005.
Thorpe Molloy faced competition from both local and national recruitment agencies during the tendering process; which included several stages. A number of companies were invited to submit a prequalification questionnaire under the European OJEC rules to the Food Standards Agency, this was followed by a reduced number of companies being invited to submit a comprehensive bid for the provision of Agency Staff to the Food Standards Agency, Aberdeen, Scotland.
