Jobs firm set up HR division
A new HR division has been launched by North-east firm Thorpe Molloy Recruitment.
The new section is headed up by Claire Hedley who is a consultant with the firm. Claire will be supported by three other recruitment consultants. The division has been set up in response to a demand for the provision of high-quality HT personnel to businesses across the North-east.
Director of Thorpe Molloy Recruitment, Karen Molloy, says: "Until now we have focused on providing personnel to fill both temporary and permanent vacancies in the fields of accountancy and office support.
"HR positions have traditionally been dealt with by our office support team. However, due to the increasing volume of this type of vacancy, we identified that there was sufficient demand for us to launch a dedicated HR division.
"This division specialises in providing HR professionals, to fill positions at all levels, in businesses across the North-east.
Claire Hedley says: "The HR Division at Thorpe Molloy has been created to provide high-calibre HR professionals at all levels within the HR function, regardless of whether the vacancy is permanent or temporary. This division, which is dedicated to HR, will ensure that both candidates and clients receive a high level and focused service."
The total number of people now working for Thorpe Molloy Recruitment now stands at 18.
Their most recent recruit is Suzanne Burr, who worked for Thorpe Molloy prior to taking time out to travel.
Suzanne says: "When I opted to leave Thorpe Molloy and go travelling for a year, they were really supportive and encouraged me to get in touch on my return. I am delighted to have rejoined the team, placing temporary accountancy staff."
