Holiday Pay Legislation Changes
Good news for all temporary workers!! There have been recent Government legislation changes meaning that, as of 1st October 2007, all temporary workers are entitled to 24 days paid holiday per annum (previously 20 days). If you are currently temping through Thorpe Molloy, your holiday pay accrual will have been adjusted automatically and you will have been accruing a higher rate of holiday pay since 1st October.
This has been introduced as a Government initiative to make contract and temporary work more attractive to UK workers and closer to the holiday benefits that you would expect to get from a permanent position.
