Thorpe Molloy Named Small / Medium Recruitment Agency of the Year

Thorpe Molloy Named Small / Medium Recruitment Agency of the Year

Aberdeen based recruitment consultancy, Thorpe Molloy, has scooped the Small/Medium Recruitment Agency of the Year award at the prestigious Scottish Recruitment Awards 2009.  Thorpe Molloy was announced as the winner of the category, which recognises the best performing Scottish owned independent agency, at a ceremony at the Glasgow Marriot Hotel last night (Wednesday, 17 June). The company also reached the finals of the Recruitment Consultant of the Year (Permanent Recruitment) category which recognises Scotland’s best performing recruitment consultant who specialises in placing permanent staff.

Karen Molloy, a director at Thorpe Molloy, says, “This is a tremendous achievement. I’m particularly thrilled for our employees as this award is a direct result of their hard work and dedication to delivering the best recruitment service.

We’re only half way through the year, but already, 2009 has been a significant year of change for Thorpe Molloy, we brought in-house an HR manager at the start of the year, with the specific remit of employee training and development; in March we moved to fantastic new premises and we have just made important internal promotions within our sales team. This award is the icing on the cake.”
