Institute of Recruitment Professionals Awards Finalists Announced

Judith Thorpe and Karen Molloy, founding members and directors of Thorpe Molloy Recruitment Ltd, are shortlisted in the Business Leader of the Year category of the inaugural Institute of Recruitment Professionals’ (IRP) Awards, run by the recruitment industry’s representation body, the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC).

The awards celebrate the standards, commitment and dedication shown by recruitment professionals.

The REC’s Chief Executive and awards judge Kevin Green said: “Selecting those to go on the shortlist gave rise to numerous debates and discussions. It was a tough job, but we now have a list of fantastic finalists all of whom we all wish every success at the awards ceremony.

“I would encourage anyone who knows any of the finalists to take time to congratulate them now.  They are already winners and they deserve the recognition for their hard work which has led to this achievement.”

Fellow judge, Clare Normanton, HR Director at Eurostar said: “Winning one of the awards will show their clients, candidates and peers just how seriously they take their standards of professionalism as a recruiter and indeed, as an ambassador for this dynamic industry.”

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in London on Thursday 26th November at the REC’s first National Convention.
