Videos: Finalists' Art Show Tempo

6th July 2018

If you have been following the story of our art competition, My Future Aspirations, you'll know that this year's finalists received their awards at the Oil & Gas Technology Centre thanks to Colette Cohen's team. The winner of the competition, Jessica Broadrick, attends Portlethen Academy, this school sits within Maureen Watt's (MSP) constituency. With support from Maureen, the finalists' artwork was displayed in the Scottish Parliament in June - even the First Minister made time to take a look.

Cassie Thompson and Mary Butterworth made an exhibition dream come true in Cafe Tempo, Bon Accord Centre as we share space with the wonderful Archie Foundation during July. If you are in town and searching for a place to have a coffee we can't rate this place highly enough. While you are there check out the delightful words and pictures from our finalists which have been reproduced in a wonderful montage by Ian from Creative Core and Murray at XiC.

And on the videos below (produced by Neil from Weightman Digital) the finalists explain how it felt to participate in the competition and what inspired them to create their individual designs. You'll find these and a montage of all the videos on our youtube channel too.

Throughout it all we have been supported by Developing the Young Workforce.
