Originally from Turriff, Steve was attracted by the bright lights of Aberdeen where he undertook his MA (Hons) degree in Accountancy from the University of Aberdeen. Graduating in 1999, he was then successful in securing a Trainee CA role with global business advisory firm, KPMG. Steve remained in this role for 2 years, before realising that he had more of a flair for counting people than counting beans and joined Thorpe Molloy in 2001 as a trainee Consultant. An avid football fan, Steve can often be spotted on the terraces of Pittodrie - he’s the one on the left.
