The role will involve the technical assessment of electrical contractors’ work (both large and small companies) during a work in progress, and on final completion of said works.

They will also be delivering training courses, providing updates on legislation and regulations as well as writing reports where required.

The candidate must have good technical knowledge, and be familiar with BS7671 Wiring Regulations.  They must have a good knowledge of the electrical contracting industry, and have strong people / face to face capabilities.

The ideal background will be someone who has come from the electrical contracting background themselves (time served Electrician / own company etc.) or perhaps from a local authority background looking for the next step in their career.

This is a mobile role and will involve travel around the north of Scotland to visit customers as required.  Company vehicle, phone, laptop and tools / equipment will all be provided.
