Assistant Accountant - VR/19445
Our client based in Aberdeen is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will report to the Finance Manager, the role will have particular focus on the following; budget cost control, general ledger, reconciliations and stat audit support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handling all project purchase orders.
- Reviewing invoices against purchase orders/ subcontracts.
- Dealing with any discrepancies and advising appropriate management.
- Resolving invoice queries.
- Cost Reporting.
- Highlighting cost savings.
- Journal entries.
- Credit Control.
- Posting Cash Receipts.
- Project set ups.
- Monthly reconciliations.
- Cash flow
Candidates should have experience within a similar role.
