There will be a requirement to work offshore on occasion (likely around once a quarter), therefore applicants must be prepared to work offshore. 

Reporting to the Technical Lead, the Senior Process Engineer will have the following main duties and responsibilities:

• Ensuring that all activities, for which he / she is responsible, are carried out in conformance with laws and regulations, contractual requirements and the Company Management System Manual. In particular, the health and safety of personnel, the natural and working environment and equipment shall be taken care of.
• Working closely with the Operations Team and providing technical support on a daily basis as required.
• Verifying status for, and assisting in maintaining and updating, the production ship’s PFD / P&IDs for the process plant.
• Following up on production and injection plan. Participating in meetings with client as requested.
• Undertaking process / production technical calculations for process plant.
• Ensuring that operating manuals for production operations are updated as necessary.
• Updating documentation for operation (DFO) within the defined area of responsibility.
• Defining, reviewing, participating or heading modification and project work within area of responsibility.
• Contributing to an effective work flow and work split with the operational organisation and the other technical support disciplines.
• Ensuring discipline checks for modifications and new revisions of relevant drawings and operations manuals.
• Providing budget input and recommendations.
• Actively taking part in the improvement of the Engineering Department’s work procedures.
• Contributing, as necessary, in technical investigations and inspections / audits, for both assigned units and other units in the company’s fleet.
• Consulting Technical Authorities for support, when necessary, to fulfil tasks listed in the job instructions.
• Consulting and receiving information from Technical Authorities on rules, regulations and standards, as required.

Experience / Qualifications:

• A Degree qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline is essential.
• Chartered Engineer status would be preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar Senior Process Engineer type role, within the Oil and Gas industry, is essential.
• This role would suit a candidate who possesses around 7-15 years’ worth of process engineering experience within the Oil and Gas industry.
• This role would suit a candidate who possesses a strong operational process engineering background within the Oil and Gas industry.
