Sales Manager - Europe - VR/19323
Our client is a global leader in their field. They have an exciting new opportunity for a Sales Manager to take on responsibility for sales growth in Europe.
This is a new role to Aberdeen, and it is expected that over time there will be further expansion of the local team and the Sales Manager will hire and manage a BDM / Account Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Identifying new business opportunities and promote the company service range to new clients.
- Developing a sales plan to achieve monthly / annual sales targets – including long-term strategic sales as well as recurring business.
- Developing positive relationships at executive-level with key clients.
- Developing marketing strategies and sales plans for the region.
- Representing the company at functions and networking events (conferences, exhibitions etc.)
- Reviewing and challenging existing pricing strategy with key clients.
- Negotiating commercial contracts.
- Account management.
- Recruiting, leading and mentoring future hires in the Sales / Account Management Team.
This role is ideally suited to an experienced Sales/Business Development professional, with excellent communication skills and a consultative approach to selling. A proven track record of success in a similar role is essential – ideally with knowledge of the offshore industry.
You should be adept at building relationships and proactive in your approach to new business development, with sound negotiation and influencing skills.
