As the Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will primarily be focused on the procurement of supplier products and sub-contractor services, with a focus on cost reduction and increasing value with suppliers.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the development and implementation of strategic sourcing plans.
• Sourcing new suppliers and liaising with internal decision markers to evaluate and recommend sourcing decisions to management.
• Building and maintaining positive working relationships with worldwide suppliers; negotiating on price, quantity and delivery schedules.
• Coordinating the supplier qualification process.
• Facilitating the RFQ process.
• In conjunction with Procurement and Legal, drafting and submitting contracts to suppliers.
• Maintaining supplier information within ERP software.
• Reporting of supplier performance.

Applicants to this position should offer extensive experience in a similar Supply Chain role, ideally within the oil and gas industry, with emphasis on strategic sourcing. A relevant qualification (MCIPS) is also preferred. It is essential that you have excellent communication, negotiation and IT skills.
