Payroll Accountant - VR/20702
Opportunity to join offshore drilling company based in the centre of Aberdeen. This newly created permanent role supports the Payroll Manager ensuring all UK offshore employees are paid accurately and on time. Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a drilling contractor, essential.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working closely with the Personnel Coordinator, the Payroll Accountant will work independently ensuring UK payroll is correctly processed in line with HMRC rules and regulations.
Main Duties:
- Inputting payroll information to the system.
- Recording sick leave, leave of absence, annual leave etc.
- Processing expenses.
- Passing payroll information on to Payroll Manager before payroll run.
- Processing leavers ensuring P45 sent out.
- Answering any payroll queries from offshore employees.
Applicants to this role require:
- Previous payroll experience ideally from an Oil and Gas background.
