An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Finance Team within a market leading Oil and Gas exploration service company based in Aberdeen. The successful Accounts Assistant will play a crucial role in the Credit Control and Accounts Payable function. This role is a fixed term contract until April 2020. Applicants applying should have experience within a similar role.

Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day tasks within the Finance Team including; credit control and accounts payable. This role will report directly to the Financial Controller.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining sales ledger.
  • Chasing overdue invoices.
  • Focal point for customer queries.
  • Accounts payable.
  • Preparing payment runs.
  • Ad hoc support when required.

Applicants to this role require:

  • Accounts and Finance related HNC.
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise workload.
  • Experience within credit control.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word.
  • Excellent communicator.
