Revenue and Production Accountant - VR/20893
Working for a leading independent oil operator, the Revenue and Production Accountant provides support to current projects by means of revenue and production accounting and reporting. This 12-month temporary assignment, based in Aberdeen City Centre, will also support on-going transition projects that have come to light following recent acquisitions.
Working within Group Finance and reporting into the Finance Manager, the Revenue and Production Accountant will hold responsibilities for the following:
- Completing all associated accounting and reporting to company’s hydrocarbon revenue, stocks and over / underlift across all operated and non-operated assets.
- Preparing and issuing all invoices.
- Reconciling and analysing all accounts whilst reporting to management.
- Preparing and managing monthly accounts and reporting.
- Assisting in the development of business intelligence reporting systems.
- Assisting with annual budget inputs.
This role would suit a recent high performing graduate with relative sector experience or those who have attained an ICAS, ACCA or CIMA qualification. Experience with revenue and production accounting is essential as is exposure to upstream activities within the North Sea. In addition, previous experience of SunSystems is advantageous.
You should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work to strict deadlines, all whilst producing a high quality of work.
