Equipment/Logistics Coordinator - VR/17140
We are working on behalf of our client to source an Equipment / Logistics Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis in Peterhead.
The primary function of this role is to allocate equipment to projects and control equipment documentation / administration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Record keeping of equipment.
- Allocating equipment to projects.
- Booking equipment in / out, using Navision.
- Ensuring the Equipment Certification Database is up to date.
- Raising Purchase Orders as required.
- Liaising with logistics suppliers to ensure transport is arranged as required.
- Keeping up to date with the latest UK legislation on lifting, transportation, import / export of equipment.
- Arranging pro-forma document and customs documentation for equipment where needed.
Applicants to this role should offer extensive experience in a similar role, with a firm understanding of material logistics.
