This is a shore based role and the candidate will have a Marine Engineering background with knowledge and experience of 4stroke engines and propulsion equipment.  The role will perhaps suit an ex 2^nd Engineer, Chief Engineer or Marine Superintendent.

Keys aspects of the role will be acting as the ‘go-between’ for the company and their clients, supporting them with their operations in terms of dry docking, engine maintenance and repair, planning etc. 

A technical understanding is key as the successful candidate needs to be able to understand how the equipment is used and the challenges that are presented.
