Currently recruiting for an experienced Integrity Engineer on a contract basis for an Oil and Gas company based in Aberdeen. The contract will initially last until the end of the year and there will likely be the occasional requirement to work offshore.

Overview:

  • The Integrity Engineer will be responsible for managing the integrity of UK Operated Assets equipment in accordance with the company’s management systems.
  • The Integrity Engineer will be the focal point for integrity issues and will liaise directly with relevant functions including Operations, Technical Authorities, offshore personnel and Discipline Engineers.
  • The position will work closely with the Delivery and Subsea Teams for the execution of inspection and other integrity management activities.
  • The Integrity Engineer will act as the responsible Engineer for the approval of WSE, RBI and inspection reports, as well as the management of any identified anomalies.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Delivering the Integrity Management Systems, ensuring that relevant equipment has up-to-date Corrosion Assessments, Risk Assessments, Inspection Plans and Integrity Reviews.
  • Managing Integrity Management Contractors.
  • Managing integrity management expenditure and commitments, including:
    • Developing cost estimates for work packages for approval, obtaining third party input where necessary; and
    • Providing cost tracking and schedule visibility throughout the lifecycle of all integrity scopes the role is responsible for and for financial processes, including budget planning, value of work done and forecasting.
  • Ensuring that corrosion management and monitoring plans are in place and followed.
  • Ensuring equipment within the WMS have appropriate integrity PMs and frequency for their service.
  • Assisting the Integrity Lead in the development, implementation and maintenance of effective Integrity Management systems.
  • Managing anomalies - reviewing risk, recommending mitigation and remedial work.
  • Managing and maintaining the Integrity Data Management System (IDMS).
  • Assisting with the development of Integrity Management System documentation for any new assets.
  • Reviewing upcoming integrity work and aligning resources to meet business needs.
  • Providing integrity support to engineering work.
  • Supporting the Integrity Lead with topsides integrity verification activity.
  • Managing the temporary repair register.
  • Ensuring that Management of Change is appropriately applied.

Education / Experience:

  • A relevant Engineering Degree qualification, or an equivalent level of relevant experience, is essential.
  • Previous and recent experience in a similar Integrity Engineer type role, within the Oil and Gas Industry, is essential.
  • Previous integrity management experience is essential.
  • Applicants will be expected to have experience with inspection and Non Destructive Testing methods.
  • Applicants will be expected to have corrosion engineering methods and management experience.
  • Applicants will be expected to have had previous experience of leading and participating in Risk Based Inspection Assessments.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to have had previously worked with an Integrity Contractor and direct employment experience with an Oil & Gas Operator would be preferred.
