The Subcontract Specialist will work independently to provide input on client tenders for key commodities. Duties will include:

• Preparing cost strategy for each client tender.
• Preparing and issuing ITTs / RFQs.
• Evaluating received bids.
• Ensuring commercial and contractual viability.
• Engaging in assessment of suppliers, new and existing.
• Post-biding management.

Applicants to this role should offer the following:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of contractual law.
• Excellent commercial negotiation skills.
• Degree qualification – preferably in commercial, legal, business or engineering.
• Experience of SAP is desirable.
