Legal Advisor (Part-time) - VR/17744
Based in the city centre of Aberdeen, our global oil service client are looking for a Legal Advisor on a part-time basis (3 days / week) to cover maternity leave. This will be a fixed term contract for 1 year.
As a Legal Advisor you will be responsible for providing commercial advice to the business ensuring that any legal risks are identified and mitigated. You will be responsible for reviewing contracts, policies and procedures.
Duties Include:
- Drafting and negotiating various agreements.
- Drafting sub-contract terms.
- Ensuring corporate policies are up to relevant standards (anti-bribery, governance and diligence).
- Supporting in initiation and preparation of variations and claims.
- Engaging and managing external Lawyers.
- Advising on implications of applicable local laws, including working with local Legal Advisors.
This role will require between 4 and 8 years PQE. Experience in contentious or non-contentious construction / engineering contracts, commercial contract drafting or onshore / offshore oil and gas contracts is essential.
