A client facing the role, the successful candidate will be required to travel to client sites within the Aberdeen area and there will also be a requirement to work offshore on occasion. 

The role will involve planning operations in client offices and it would suit a candidate with a strong operations / offshore background who has recently moved from the field into a more client facing and operations engineering / planning type role. 

Experience / Certification:

• The client is looking for someone with recent and specific technical sales & operations planning experience within the downhole tools field.
• The successful candidate must be adept at building and maintaining client relationships.
• An understanding of downhole pressure calculations is required.
• Previous offshore / hands-on experience in TCP, perforating, cementing, downhole tools or coil tubing is essential.
• A cementing engineering background would be highly desirable.
• Familiarisation with industry modelling software would be preferred.
• Current / valid offshore certification would be preferred.
• A full driving licence is essential.
