The Senior UX / UI Developer will have the following main duties and responsibilities:

• Gathering and evaluating user requirements in collaboration with Project Managers and Engineers.
• Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
• Design graphic user interface elements.
• Developing UI mock ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how apps function and look like.
• Creating original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables).
• Preparing and presenting rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems.
• Conducting layout adjustments based on user feedback.
• Adhering to style standards on fonts, colours and images.

Experience

Essential:

• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a similar UX / UI Designer, UX Architect, Product Designer, Interaction Designer type role.
• Strong understanding of design principles and systems.
• Proficiency with current design tools (e.g. Sketch, Adobe CC) and prototyping tools.
• Experience of working on mobile apps and implementing both iOS and material design guidelines.
• Able to use both quantitative and qualitative data to inform decisions.
• Able to translate client feedback, business requirements and quantitative data into design decisions.
• Able to work closely with other Designers, Project Managers, front-end Developers and Engineers to oversee the experience from conception to launch.
• Collaborate effectively with Project Managers to drive product strategy and prioritisation.
• Experience working with pre-defined frameworks and libraries.

Preferred:

• Experience of working in Agile environments (Kanban or Scrum)
• Experience of working with the OutSystems platform.
