Contracts Specialist - VR/18359
Our client has a requirement for a Contracts Specialist to join their team on a contract basis for a period of around 9 months to cover maternity leave.
The Contracts Specialist is responsible for leading the management and coordination of the procurement process, including pre-qualification, tendering / negotiation and post-award management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identifying and evaluating suitable vendors through market pre-qualification.
- Preparing tender strategies and ITT documentation.
- Leading tender evaluations and direct contractual and commercial negotiation.
- Internal liaison with stakeholders to evaluate tenders, obtain contract award approvals and contract execution.
- Negotiating and administering commercial contracts and system generated call-off orders against master service contracts across the business.
- Mitigating contract risk and commercial optimisation to ensure best value.
- Post-award administration support including amendments and variations.
Applicants to this role should offer the following:
- Experience in a similar role, ideally gain with an oil and gas operator.
- Excellent experience in contract and commercial negotiations.
- Knowledge of LOGIC model contracts.
- Oracle / Maximo experience would be beneficial.
