Currently recruiting for an experienced ERP System Data Coordinator on an on-going temporary basis for an oil and gas company based in Aberdeen. Although an on-going temporary position at present, there is a chance that the role could become permanent down the line.

Reporting to the Systems Implementation Manager, the ERP System Data Coordinator will work with the ERP Project Team, focusing on Master Data preparation and load, as well as supporting the load of the opening balances for the ERP expansion projects.  The ERP System Data Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that all master data requirements are fulfilled, and the processes of managing and approving data changes are established and implemented successfully, capturing the review status of load sheet data.

The ERP System Data Coordinator will have the following main duties and responsibilities:

Master Data construction and updates:

Identifying the key pieces of data required to expand the ERP system and migrate into ERP from manual records, supporting data updates required after go-live:

  • Item Master data (e.g. descriptions, vendor part numbers, units of measure, categories, tracking).
  • Bill of Materials (BOM) records.
  • Stock-keeping unit records.
  • Records of locations, zones and bins of reach site.
  • Transfer matrix and shipping agent records.
  • Asset record updates required for stock testing and go-live.
  • Transaction reporting data (e.g. reason codes, categories and attributes).
  • Commodity codes and certification requirements.
  • Photographs.
  • Other data required for current or future projects.

Working with the Project Team and Users to support the following:

  • Relationship between Master Data / BOM and Engineering Drawings.
  • The loading of the opening position for testing and go-live.
  • Identifying replenishment requirements for parts required for each site.
  • Identifying any missing parts ahead of go-live.
  • Making recommendations on processes of managing Master Data after go-live.

General administration:

  • Checking or sourcing information using existing data or through requests as necessary.
  • Compiling progress documentation and statistics on percentage completed.
  • Faxing, scanning and emailing documents / files as necessary.

Experience / Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar ERP Data Coordinator type role is essential.
  • Previous experience within the oil and gas industry or an engineering / manufacturing environment would be preferred.
  • System change experience is essential.
  • Large database extracts or loads experience is essential.
  • Large date extract and manipulation experience is essential.
  • Experience supporting or using Stock or Asset Management systems would be preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills is essential.
  • A sound understanding of ERP systems is essential.
