Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Administration of all inward and outward freight movement of goods and equipment.
• Arranging transportation by approved suppliers.
• Preparation and filing of import, export GRNs, Despatch Notes and all other documentation associated with the inward and outward movement of good/equipment.
• Preparation and filing of Dangerous Goods documentation.
• Maintaining and updating subscribed materials relevant to the Freight Department.
• Purchasing of supplies specific to the Freight Department.
• Delivering and collection of client-supplied materials.
• Organising and maintaining preventative maintenance schedule for company vehicles, including Forklift trucks.
• Maintaining ARP building warehouse and upper yard area in a tidy and orderly manner.
• Arranging crane hire when required and managing life operations to be carried out on site.
• Ensuring all company owned lifting equipment is covered by a current test or inspection certificate.
• Distribution of general sitewide supplies.

Applicants to this role should offer the following:

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.
• A full UK driving licence.
• IATA and IMDG certificates/documentation (ideal but not essential).
• Attended courses on Management of Lifting Operations and Banksman/Slinger (ideal but not essential).
• Current forklift training certificate (ideal but not essential).
