Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring all requisitions and pricing requests etc, are processed in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Ensuring that all materials and services are sourced, priced, purchased and supplied in accordance with Company BMS.
• Managing the tender process; issuing appropriate RFQ documents, evaluation of submissions, commercial negotiation, negotiation of terms conditions and drafting final documents.
• Selecting appropriate suppliers for delivery.
• Committing Purchase Orders in a timely and cost-efficient manner, within limits of financial authority.
• Monitoring all confirmed orders with suppliers and ensure on time delivery and expediting outstanding Purchase Orders.
• Acting as the focal point for all project materials and equipment.
• Maintaining accurate Materials Status Reports and Rentals Register.
• Ensuring that all invoice queries are processed in a timely manner.
• Ensuring equipment, materials and consumables are correctly identified and certified to the appropriate specification.
• Liaising with appointed Freight Forwarder to ensure materials and equipment are receipted in a timely manner.

Applicants to this role should offer previous experience in a similar role within a Supply Chain environment – with knowledge of a variety of purchasing methods and procedures.
