Reporting to the Procurement Manager, your main responsibility as Buyer will be the procurement of products and services; maintaining a focus on reducing cost and increasing value.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting in the development and implementation of strategic sourcing plans.
• Sourcing new suppliers.
• Evaluating and recommending procurement decisions to management.
• Building and maintaining positive working relationships with suppliers.
• Negotiating with suppliers on price and delivery schedules.
• Facilitating the RFQ process.
• Maintaining supplier information within ERP software.
• Creating and managing pricing catalogues.

Applicants to this position should have extensive experience in a similar supply chain role, ideally within the Oil and Gas industry.  It is essential that you have excellent communication skills, a strong track record of negotiating procurement terms and good attention to detail.
