Rate: Commensurate with experience
We are working closely with our client, a well-known and reputable Freight Forwarder, to recruit an Import Coordinator to join the team at their Aberdeen branch.
The Import Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
- Accurately entering all data onto all systems and ensuring all is completed fully.
- Booking shipments via overseas agents, road transport / shipping lines and carriers.
- Processing all import requests from clients.
- Processing customs declarations, ensuring HMRC compliance.
- Undertaking, in a timely manner, invoicing of jobs completed.
- Resolving any issues with clients and vendors.
Applicants to this role will ideally have around 4 years’ experience of freight forwarding and international imports. You should also be fully conversant with HMRC Revenue and Customs regulations.
