Expeditor - VR/17905
Our client, based on the south-side of Aberdeen, has a requirement for an experienced Expeditor to join their team on a fixed-term contract for 14 months.
Duties and Responsibilities of this role will include:
- Expediting all good to ensure timely delivery – highlighting any delays / problems to customers.
- Liaising with suppliers and internal departments on delivery information.
- Dealing with technical queries from suppliers or the Customer Service Team.
- Arranging transport for incoming goods.
- Ensuring all purchase orders are reviewed to ensure compliance with customer instructions, obligations and commitments.
- Providing accurate delivery information to the Customer Service Team.
- Ensuring that the most up-to-date changes on product delivery information are communicated effectively.
- Supporting the Procurement Supervisor in administrative duties.
Applicants to this role should offer the following:
- Previous experience in an Expediting role (around 7 years’ experience is preferred).
- Oil and Gas experience.
The successful candidate will be a confident individual, comfortable liaising with suppliers and working under pressure.
