This is an exciting opportunity to for an experienced Bids Manager / Writer to join our client, a leading facilities management company, based at their office in Aberdeen.

Working alongside the BD Director, the Bids Manager will primarily be responsible for producing first-class bid writing and coordination. The role may also require some business development activity.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating bid processes, often managing multiple bids in parallel.
  • Liaising with Subject Matter Experts to obtain all relevant information for bids, allowing time for formatting, proof-reading and approvals.
  • Working with clients to understand their priorities, ensuring that bids are written to respond to these needs, whilst successfully promoting the company’s capabilities and expertise.
  • Utilising internal resources and liaising with colleagues, locally and globally, to build and write successful bids.

The successful candidate will be a skilled and experienced bid writer, ideally boasting a strong network to support in business development activity. Applicant experience / attributes should also include:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Commercial awareness, as well as BD and financial management skills.
  • Experience working with a diverse range of clients.
