HSSEQ Technical Assistant - VR/18224
Major oil and gas company looking for a HSSEQ Technical Assistant for a 9 - 12 month contract.
The candidate will provide a wide range of technical and administrative support to the HSSEQ Team.
Key Responsibilities within the role will be:
- Collating data and information from a variety of sources to produce and distribute reports and analyses of HSSEQ KPI performance.
- Reviewing performance statistics and information, ensuring HSSEQ and Operations Teams are aware of issues to be followed-up, monitoring remedial / corrective actions to be taken on an on-going basis.
- Developing and maintaining technical databases and spreadsheets: e.g. Process Leaks Register, Near Miss.
- Acting as focal point for HSSE incident records and reports, monitoring the progress of corrective and preventive actions required to be taken through to close-out.
- Managing lessons learned and ALERT process relating to HSE incidents, reports, etc.
- Acting as the company focal point for the Oil & Gas UK Personal Safety Data requests
Qualifications / Training:
- NEBOSH certificate or working towards an HSE-related qualification.
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
Essential
- Considerable experience in an administration role within a technical environment.
- Experience of database management.
Preferred
- Experience of working in an HSE environment within the oil and gas industry.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of H&S legislation.
- Knowledge of ORACLE / SAP / other accounting systems.
- Knowledge of accident / incident investigation and reporting systems e.g. Impact, Synergi.
