Currently recruiting for a Senior Maintenance Data Controller on a permanent staff basis for a company based in Aberdeen.

Reporting to the Fleet Support Manager, the Senior Maintenance Data Controller will be expected to oversee maintenance data collation and analysis for the management of Maintenance Programme Effectiveness. 

The Senior Maintenance Data Controller will produce, control and modify aircraft maintenance programmes through utilising technical content provided by the aircraft manufacturers and other document sources.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analysing the effectiveness of the maintenance programmes.
  • Facilitating statistical analysis and reviewing the approved maintenance programmes.
  • Creating maintenance programmes.
  • Create and publish company maintenance programmes.
  • Updating maintenance system with maintenance requirements.
  • Aircraft maintenance programme administration.
  • Creating amendment packages and updating maintenance programmes.
  • Administration of the maintenance programme approval process.
  • Liaising with regulatory authorities on programme approval status.
  • Maintenance programme database administration.
  • Ensuring database is kept up to date.
  • Archiving backup justification data.
  • Researching archive Maintenance programme data.
  • Reliability reporting.
  • Producing reliability reports using system tools.
  • Carrying out reliability analysis and research to justify maintenance programme changes.
  • Collating maintenance data.
  • Supporting Fleet Engineering Specialist with data collation for the purpose of technical resolution research.

Experience / Skills:

  • Previous and specific experience in a similar Maintenance Data Controller type position is essential.
  • Previous maintenance programme, reliability monitoring, technical records or technical administration experience would be desirable.
  • An understanding of aviation regulatory requirements would be preferred.
  • Applicants will be expected to possess a sound understanding of maintenance programmes.
  • Applicants will be expected to possess a basic understanding of statistical analysis techniques.
  • Applicants will be expected to be skilled in the usage of planning software.
  • Experience with maintenance planning would be preferred.
