Credit Controller - VR/31126

A family-owned organisation based in Moray are seeking a Credit Controller to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will involve ensuring payments are received on time, and chasing overdue accounts where applicable. Previous experience within credit control is essential.

      

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Following up with customers to ensure timely payments.
  • Communicating effectively with sales and depot teams.
  • Setting up accounts for new customers, undertaking credit checks where applicable.
  • Liaising with external debt collectors in regards to overdue accounts.
  • Reviewing credit-held orders for potential release.
  • Handling customer payments securely over the phone.

       

Applicants to this role require

  • Teamwork skills, proactively assisting colleagues when required.
