Key Responsibilities:

• Providing support in implementing a new payroll system and managing payroll provider for 5 affiliates.
• Providing support for the legacy payroll system when required.
• Analysing payroll data to identify errors and ensure timely rectification by the payroll provider.
• Ensuring accurate reporting to HMRC, third-party suppliers, and internal Finance Teams.
• Addressing payroll queries raised by the business and provide clear, effective solutions.
• Maintaining accurate HR data within SuccessFactors and ensuring it replicates correctly to the payroll system.
• Reviewing trial payroll results, investigating discrepancies, and coordinating corrections.
• Preparing manual instructions for the managed payroll provider.
• Managing payroll approvals and BACS payment processes in line with internal controls.

Role requirements:

• Proven payroll experience, preferably in a complex environment.
• Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Good understanding of HR data and payroll reporting processes.
• Experience closing, operating, and reporting payrolls, with knowledge of interfacing payroll with HMRC, pensions, and other third parties.
• Knowledge of SuccessFactors is highly desirable.
