As Production & Maintenance Lead, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and high-quality operation of production activities, while also supporting maintenance across machinery and facilities.

Overview job description:

• Leading production teams across moulding, trimming and assembly operations.
• Overseeing daily manufacturing activities to ensure output, quality and efficiency targets are met.
• Creating and executing short- and medium-term production schedules.
• Providing hands-on and planned maintenance support for production machinery and factory infrastructure.
• Monitoring productivity, quality standards and output performance.
• Identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency and increase productivity.
• Ensuring high standards of housekeeping, hygiene and factory organisation.
• Enforcing company policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
• Promoting and embedding strong HSEQ practices across all operations.
• Training, coaching and developing production staff.
• Escalating operational risks, issues or bottlenecks to senior management.

Applicants to this role require:

• Proven experience within a manufacturing or production environment (polymer moulding experience highly advantageous).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Practical understanding of production machinery and maintenance requirements.
• Experience working within HSEQ frameworks.
• IOSH Managing Safely (or willingness to obtain).
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
